Artist Statement Development and/or Fine Tuning: It’s hard to write your own artist statement! We can work together to create a jargon-free artist statement that distills the essence of your practice and helps you communicate the magic and mission of your work to the folks you need to reach.

Publicity: Want to get more eyeballs on your work and your website to reach more potential collectors? From finding reporters and influencers to contact and crafting media materials (including pitch emails) to send, I’ll help you build a practical and realistic roadmap that gives you the best chance of landing media placements.
Authors
Building Your Platform: Getting published often starts with building a platform, showing potential publishers that you have a growing, committed fan base. It’s never too soon to start working on this! I can make recommendations to help you establish and grow your community of supporters.
Creating Media Materials: To secure readings and media placements, you’ll need foundational materials that make it easy for even producers and reporters to say “yes” to working with you. At a minimum, this includes a website, a book one-sheet, an author bio and a pitch email. We can work together to create documents that get coverage.
Creating a Publicity Plan: Book publicity is tricky business these days: the market for getting coverage on books is unbelievably crowded and competitive. That means out-of-the-box thinking is more important than ever. I’ve got a track record of success publicizing my own book, Museum of Dogs, as well as getting great results for several other authors.
Executing Publicity Plans: The cornerstone of my approach is understanding your goals, finding the right folks to reach out to, and creating messaging that earns attention and gets results.
