The Portland Building, which is where the Portlandia statue lives, was designed by Michael Graves, opened in 1982, and is an icon of postmodern architecture. Some people hate it, some people love it: I love it :)

This series was inspired some of the places and things I love most about my hometown (and where I still live!) of Portland, Oregon.
