“Big Pink” (official name is U.S. Bancorp Tower) got its name because….you guessed it, it’s pink. The exterior is pink granite from Spain, and the windows are glazed to make them look pink from the outside. Which leads me to wonder: why aren’t more very tall buildings all pink??? (PS, I have made this Big Pink pinker than the real Big Pink.)
