Movie Madness Museum - Portland Art Prints
Movie Madness Museum - Portland Art Prints
Movie Madness opened in 1991, and was basically immediately the coolest place in Portland. Over the years, it just got cooler, as owner Mike Clark expanded his memorabilia collection to display alongside what seemed like a collection of every amazing film ever created.
Movie Madness is where I rented Jim Jarmusch, Agnes Varda, and Francois Truffaut films for the first time. These bit and bobs of memorabilia - Julie Andrews’ dress from Sound of Music, a neon sign from Big Trouble in Little China, soap from Fight Club and a model house used in both Blade Runner and Ghostbusters are among the treasures you can go see there.
