I realized I’d been thinking about rest as something passive - something that just happens when we stop doing things. But rest, true rest, is actually active - a choice we make, a mindset we enter, a healing power we submit to. Hopefully this can remind us of that.

About the Color Ideas Series: In this series, I’m doing one of my favorite things: letting my thoughts turn into color relationships and patterns that serve to remind me (and maybe you!) of an idea that’s worth remembering.
